Santa Leo – AZ Santas, Mrs. Claus and Elves

I got connected with the Arizona Santas, Mrs. Claus and Elves in October 2011, but I didn’t do more than a charity event for my neighbor’s family at Christmas, who had a father Al with Alzheimer’s. In 2012, I got serious about becoming a Real Bearded Santa and did the same Christmas neighbors event and picked up a job at The Ice Den, Scottsdale, AZ, on December 22, 2012, for a private dinner. It opened up to all the guests at the Ice Den rink. I have upgraded all of my Santa Suits and now have six complete Santa suits as new accessories ready to use. I enjoy working with the children and adults, and look forward to making this part of my life for many years to come. Children are the future of our country, so I just want them all to have a special day each year during Christmas for them to remember forever, by celebrating it with Santa. I prefer Private/Corporate functions that can range from 1-6 hours, but will consider other options. I don’t mind having to travel to other cities in Arizona and other parts of the USA, given the opportunity. I am also willing to do Charities where and when needed,
if I am already not committed. I have several Charities, like the St. Mary’s Food Bank in Surprise and the American Service Animal Society (A.S.A.S.) in Chandler that I book each year to make the families and their children happy during the Christmas Holiday Season. A.S.A.S. trains Service animals for our disabled veterans for FREE. They are both a 501 (c) (3) and operate only on donations they receive throughout the year.
Before getting in the realm of being Santa, I was in the Information Technology arena for 50+ years, the last 40+ of which have been spent in Information Technology Security. I am still heavily involved in this arena as a founder of the Sonoran Desert Security User Group (SDSUG) (®), with a Membership of over 750. I started the IT Professional User Group on September 25, 2001.
